Praha - Muzeum hlavního města Prahy, Na Poříčí 52 The exhibition will present two important moments in the history of Prague – the events of 1848, especially the Pentecostal Uprising, and the declaration of the independent Czechoslovak state on 28 October 1918 including the reflections of Prague life which resulted in the establishment of Czechoslovakia. Furthermore, the exhibition will show the changes in Prague during the second half of the 19th century. Over several decades, Prague underwent remarkable modernisation, was surrounded by suburbs, and constructed many transport structures and important public buildings. Altogether, Prague was transformed into a modern metropolis.

Praha - Muzeum hlavního města Prahy, Na Poříčí 52 The City of Prague Museum acquired a comprehensive collection of porcelain and glass from the Praha Hotel interiors shortly before it was demolished in January 2014 despite the protesting public and experts.

Praha - Muzeum hlavního města Prahy The Poor Prague exhibition gives several perspectives on poverty in the city during the 19th century and mainly the first half of the 20th century. Historic picture materials, especially photographs and prints, demonstrate the survival strategies of the destitute, depict the vanished places linked with poverty, and introduce institutions for care of the poor and social care as they were formed since Joseph II’s era.

Praha - Studijní a dokumentační centrum Norbertov, Nad Hradním vodojemem 53/13 The Prague audience has a great opportunity to visit the house of the architect Jože Plečnik in Ljubljana from June to September of this year by means of an exhibition held in the Norbertov Study and Documentation Centre. The Ljubljana Museum, which is in charge of Jože Plečnik’s house, has devised this travelling exhibition. It describes the arduous renovation process of this modern architecture monument which opened in 2015 to present the famous architect’s authentic life and workspace. The historical black and white photographs are supplemented with recent colour photos of the house and the original materials from Plečnik’s collection. The City of Prague Museum thus continues the presentation of restored historical buildings which began with the exhibition about the Villa Müller reconstruction.

Praha - prostory pod bývalým Stalinovým pomníkem V rozsáhlé sloupové síni pod bývalým Stalinovým pomníkem autoři vytvoří instalaci s využitím světelných a zvukových efektů – videomappingu, která přiblíží dramatické okamžiky 20. století. Výstava návštěvníkům představí symbolicky přesně sto příběhů z 2. sv. války, holokaustu, domácího a zahraničního odboje, příběhy Pražského povstání, někdejších politických vězňů 50. let, disidentů, ale i udavačů StB a svědectví někdejších komunistů. S příběhy se návštěvník potká nejen v podzemí Stalina, ale i na výstavních věžích kolem bývalého pomníku a na různých místech v celém parku na Letné.
