Praha - Galerie Rudolfinum Unplugged, collective exhibition of international artists, derives its name from acoustic musical performance. Artists were approached to create a project with minimum consumption of fossil fuels for production and transport. We strive to explore the motive of stepping out of the comfort zone, limited resources, while maintaining the professionalism of institutional representation. We want to bring to the forefront the qualities we frequently overlook because of the ease of machine and automated production. An accent on daylight and physical experience when encountering art are also a themes.
KAREL MYSLBEK: THE SILENT DRAMA OF HUMAN POVERTY

Praha - Veletržní palác The painter Karel Myslbek (1874–1915) was a sensitive observer of ordinary people, portraying them in difficult life situations. He was also interested in the world of the circus and of the theatre as a reflection of the challenges of human existence. The drawings and prints in which he developed the motifs for subsequent paintings present some of his themes – from depicting old men and beggars to motifs of clowns and Pierrot figures.

Praha - Městská knihovna Organized under the motto of “Come Closer,” the first edition of Bienále Ve věci umění / Matter of Art explores questions of co-existence in a society in which people no longer speak the same language. It looks at instances in which language has failed, exploring contempt, irritation, fear, frustration, anger, aggression, and fatigue.
LEONARDO DA VINCI - AN INSPIRING GENIUS

Praha - Schwarzenberský palác The Graphic Cabinet in Schwarzenberg Palace will present both images based on works by Leonardo and creations loosely inspired by him. Although the Cabinet is primarily devoted to the Old Masters, this time the display will also offer prints and drawings by 19th- and 20th-century artists. Visitors to the National Gallery will therefore have the opportunity to see drawings by Jan Zrzavý and Vilém Kandler. Other works on view will include prints by Albrecht Dürer and William Hogarth, and an engraving based on a drawing by Peter Paul Rubens. The highlight of the exhibition will be the etching Salvator Mundi by Wenceslaus Hollar, based on a painting by Leonardo that has recently resonated through all world media.

FRANTIŠEK MUZIKA: DRAWINGS AND PRINTS

Praha - Veletržní palác The exhibition presents František Muzika (1900–1974) and his imaginatively conceived drawing and prints from the National Gallery Prague’s collection. All of them serve as a stage for lyrical metamorphoses filled with enigmatic references. The exhibition has been organised to mark the 120th anniversary of the artist’s birth.

OPRÁSKI SČESKÍ HISTORJE - NAŠĚ SLAVNÍ BOJĚ

Praha - Villa Pellé Známý neznámý umělec Jaz ukáže ve zcela nových a jedinečných velkoformátových dílech, jaké místo zaujímají velké a slavné české bitvy v Opráscích sčeskí historije. Bojovníci slavných českých bitev a stateční vojáci opět zaujmou své pozice, ale tentokrát pouze na papíře. Diváci se tak mohou těšit na třeskuté salvy vtipu a svištící ostří Jazovy češtiny, kterou se umí tak mistrně ohánět. Opráski sčeskí historije se objevily poprvé v roce 2012 a staly se záhy fenoménem s početnou fanouškovskou základnou a několika knižními vydáními.

Praha - Novoměstská radnice Výstava obrazů Ivana Klymenka se skládá ze tří cyklů. Každý představuje svébytnou sérii obrazů. Na výstavě umělec představuje veřejnosti vůbec poprvé svou tvorbu ve velkém rozsahu, divák si může prohlédnout jak realistické, tak abstraktní autorovy obrazy.
