TRNKA´S GARDEN 2

Ctěnice - zámek Having been inspired by Jiří Trnka’s storybook The Garden, the interactive exhibition takes visitors to a forgotten garden with many mysterious places and unusual stage properties. The six-room installation accentuates remarkable characters and storylines of the book. Each room has its specific atmosphere emphasising interactivity and using lots of animation and audio-visual effects. Further play elements are found in the exterior. While the creators honour Jiří Trnka, they use modern technologies to shift the story further.

Roztoky u Prahy - zámek Výjimečný soubor uměleckých děl shromážděných k 160. výročí narození malířky Zdenky Braunerové je mimořádný nejen svým rozsahem, ale i rozmanitostí. Prezentována budou díla mužů – výtvarníků z okruhu malířky. Na výstavě bude prezentováno přes 90 uměleckých děl z více než desítky státních institucí i ze soukromých sbírek. Rodin, Chittussi, Bílek, Zrzavý a ti druzí …
OD STŘÍBRNÉHO ČESKÉHO TOLARU K AMERICKÉMU DOLARU

Pardubice - Východočeské muzeum Výstava přibližuje vznik a vývoj řady tolarových měn v Evropě v 16. století, počínaje ražbou velkých stříbrných mincí v Jáchymově roku 1520, jejichž dobové pojmenování „tolar“ později zobecnělo jako označení všech ražeb tohoto typu. Vysvětluje také, proč se právě termín „dollar“ stal koncem 18. století hlavní měnovou jednotkou nově vzniklých USA a jak tento vývoj, pokračující až do současnosti, souvisel s někdejším nerostným bohatstvím českých zemí. Výstava byla poprvé prezentována v anglické verzi v červnu 2017 v USA (Bohemian National Hall, New York), v roce 2018 navštíví i další místa Spojených států.

Praha - Muzeum hlavního města Prahy, Na Poříčí 52 The City of Prague Museum acquired a comprehensive collection of porcelain and glass from the Praha Hotel interiors shortly before it was demolished in January 2014 despite the protesting public and experts.

Praha - Dům U Zlatého prstenu Conservators are usually hidden from visitors; the public is not familiar with their job which is a variable and complex activity that incorporates various skills and knowledge and which often requires interdisciplinary cooperation. The Conserved Past exhibition seeks to expound on some processes of ceramics, metal, paper, textile, and wood conservation. Moreover, the exhibition presents new methods, such as 3D scanning of objects, as well as participation in the education of the incoming generation of conservators. Interactive components are directed at young visitors.

Praha - Muzeum hlavního města Prahy, Na Poříčí 52 The exhibition is devoted to the Royal Game Preserve (Stromovka), a significant grassed area on the map of Prague. The 16th and early 17th centuries mark the most famous era of this aristocratic hunting ground. In the 19th century, it became an area for entertainment of the Prague citizens.

Praha - Uměleckoprůmyslové museum The retrospective exhibition, a cross-section of the photographer Josef Koudelka’s work, is being held at the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague to mark his eightieth birthday. The basis of the exhibition comprises 350 photographs, which are part of the large set of works that Koudelka has generously decided to give to his native land.
